Livetools is a company founded in Switzerland in 1997 whose vocation is the development of RF systems serving the Broadcast industry.

In the early 2000s, Livetools launched the “Carry Coder”, the first fully digital RF system.
In 2007 Livetools was acquired by Euromedia and achieved the breakthrough of covering the first Tour de France in High Definition via around fifty RF links.
The success was immediate with, among others, the “SVG Awards for Technology Excellence” awarded during the IBC 2007.
In 2017, a new generation of links 100% compatible with UHD and HDR standards offer the performance of HEVC encoding.
The HD Switcher is deployed for the Rio Olympics, and introduces “seamless” switching of all types of signals.
EMG France covers most of the HF links for the Olympic Games in Sochi and introduces the HD Configurator dedicated to remote equipment management.
The HD Runner and HD Master allow complete control of onboard cameras and minimize the weight borne by cameramen.
The Beijing Olympic Games are entirely covered by terrestrial links via the development of broadband modulation at 20 MHz.
